We had:

Greg Lucas, Financial planning expert from UniSA online discussing how budgeting for a drop in JobKeeper payments post Christmas is necessary. With businesses receiving JobKeeper payments having to requalify, Mr Lucas predicts a number of businesses will no longer qualify for JobKeeper payments in the new year. Leaving thousands of Australians potentially without work – right when those post-Christmas credit card statements arrive.

Robert Hunt, CEO of Dietitians Australia talking about how food security is essential for remote communities to thrive. Dietitians Australia is calling for the Government to ensure all Australians have access to affordable, safe, and nutritious food, regardless of their location. This comes ahead of the final report from the Senate Inquiry into Food Pricing and Food Security in Remote Indigenous Communities, due to be handed down next week.

Senior Constable Nicole O’Rourke, Sergeant Adrian Geary, PLO John Jia and Constable Beau from Edmonton Police with their weekly Which Way yarning segment talking about White Ribbon Day which is coming up on Friday 20th November 2020. White Ribbon Day was established to engage and educate men and boys on domestic violence and end violence against women and girls.
