The Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF) is proud to have been recognised as the 2023 Philanthropic Foundation of the Year at the annual Queensland Community Foundation Philanthropy Awards Lunch.

Matt Mellahn, AFL Cape York Development Coordinator, talking about the AFL Cape York trip to Sunshine Coast. 22 students from across Cape York and the Torres Strait have returned home after competing at the 2023 Australian Football (AFL) State School Championships on the Sunshine Coast. The Crusaders team had representatives from 14 communities from Hope Vale through to Iama Island in the Torres Strait.
