The Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) has welcomed Australia’s inaugural Ambassador for First Nations People Justin Mohamed on his first official visit to region from 1 – 3 June.

Deon Hastie, NAISDA’s Head of Dance, talking about NAISDA and Carriageworks present ATI – A Dance Reckoning of Truth Place and Belonging. ATI, meaning ‘journey’ in the Meriam Mer language from the Eastern Islands of the Torres Strait, is a powerful declaration of survival and belonging shared through cultural and contemporary First Nations dance stories.

Kenny Vowles, Director of Culture for betr Darwin Triple Crown, Northern Territory Major Events Company, talking about how the betr Darwin Triple Crown Supercars Indigenous Round returns 16-18 June. Indigenous culture will be at the forefront, as every Supercars team on the grid wraps their cars with distinctive liveries showcasing Indigenous artworks from across the country.
