National Talkblack 060223

We had:

Stacey Moragiannis, Type 1 diabetic discussing the stigma it has had on her life. The majority of Australians living with diabetes have experienced diabetes stigma at some point in their lives, while one in five Australians living with type 1 diabetes have been discriminated against in the workplace because of the condition.

Harley Mann, Wakka Wakka man and creative lead, talking about “The Wet” presented by Circa Cairns, First Nations led circus. Making its premiere at the Cairns Performing Arts Centre on February 10th and 11th, THE WET is the must-see new Australian performance that brings together the physicality of circus performance with First Nation story telling.
