We had:

Paul Flatau, The University of Western Australia Centre for Social Impact director talking about how a new report reveals extent of Indigenous WA homelessness crisis. “While making up only 3.1 per cent of the general population, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders form 29.1 per cent of the homeless population in the Census,” Paul said.

Dr Ben Reeves, Paediatric cardiologist, talking about trek to address rising rates of RHD in Australia. A group of highly experienced doctors, health workers, and First Nations’ leaders from across the nation have gathered to begin a ‘Deadly Heart Trek’ in Queensland, aimed at helping tackle the rising rates of rheumatic heart disease amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
