Professor Reuben Bolt, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of First Nations Leadership Charles Darwin University, talking about the Aboriginal artist who designed the Aboriginal flag speaking at revitalised Nugget Coombs Lecture on Larrakia country last Friday 9th Sept. Harold Thomas, together with barrister Colin Golvan AM QC and solicitor Chrystal Dare, delivered the 10th Nugget Coombs Memorial Lecture this year on Larrakia Country for the first time in three years.
Kara McGewan, Daughter of Vince Copley, who sadly passed earlier this year, talking about her father’s autobiography “The Wonder of Little Things”. The late Vince Copley, a First Nation Elder, shares his extraordinary story of finding kindness in the midst of prejudice, and joy in living life to the full. The book was published Sept 7th.
Katrina Connolly, Sexual Health Indigenous Health Worker at Gurriny Yealamucka Health Service Aboriginal Corporation, talking about the upcoming young person sexual health check in Yarrabah.
