Professor Yvette Roe from Charles Darwin University talking about CDU to build model for cultural-appropriate health care after federal government announced support in Budget. CDU’s Molly Wardaguga Research Centre is building a model to provide holistic and culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women through childbirth.

India Collins, Exhibitions Manager at Cairns Indigenous Art Fair talking about new marketplace offers more time and space for arts and wares. Cairns Indigenous Art Fair is on the hunt for Indigenous cultural artisans and craftspeople to market their wares at this year’s event that will offer an extended sales period within the festival’s glamorous, more spacious surrounds of Cairns Convention Centre.

Jedess and David Hudson, Father and Daughter talking about the exhibition at Crystalbrook Riley where they’ll be featuring. Ancient Voices – New Beginnings is a diverse mix of Jedess’ contemporary perspective with David’s traditional storytelling style. This collaborative exhibition combines ancient artforms with modern ideas, the passing down of the baton between father and daughter.
