The Collingwood Football Club and the AFL have displayed commitment to this event and working alongside the Magpies at Victoria Park adds significant weight to the occasion, establishing it as an annual tradition. Indigenous Sports Network (ISN) proudly presents the Ngarra Jarra Noun – Healing Ceremony at Victoria Park on Sunday, 21st April 2024, from 2pm to 6pm.
Dr. Sharhriar Kaisar, Lecturer of Information Systems, talking about how regulations around the use of deepfakes are needed. Some of Dr Shahriar Kaisar’s research spans the development of sophisticated cyber threat detection and mitigation strategies. Although it is becoming increasingly difficult to detect deepfakes, there are a few signs you can look out for to determine a video’s authenticity, such as:
• unnatural facial expressions,
• odd eye movements or poorly synced lip movements,
• inconsistent lighting and shadows,
• unusual blinking behaviours,
• unnatural background sounds, etc.
