Kurt Gruber, CEO of Worldview Foundation, talking about Aboriginal self-determination requiring opportunity – Young Aboriginal men need job opportunities which help them work alongside others who understand their culture and community, and empower them to access full time employment.
Aimee McVeigh, CEO of Queensland Council of Social Service (QCOSS), talking about launching QCOSSs’ “Make Queensland Fair” campaign for FNQ and touching base on the Youth Justice space and some of the positive diversionary programs that are making a difference in Cairns (Harbrow Mentoring, YETI, Jalbalbina etc).
