Leesa Watego, One Business, talking about One Business 2nd Virtual Indigenous Business & Contractors Expo is on at the end of this month, celebrating Queensland Small Business Month. The One Business program is designed to create more pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (Indigenous) people to have increased participation in Queensland’s economy. The Expo will showcase diverse and vibrant Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander businesses and contractors from across Queensland. Heidi Tait, Tangaroa Blue Founder & CEO, talking about the Tangaroa Blue Foundation. Tangaroa Blue Foundation (an Australian registered charity and non-profit organisation) works to prevent and remove marine debris in Australia and across regions. They use the Australian Marine Debris Initiative framework to inspire behaviour change, innovation and empower communities, industry and government to make data-driven decisions that improve ocean health.
