Each artwork is hand-painted, digitally translated, and printed onto vegan leather, with every shoe handmade for each style. Savannah Bolt, Charles Darwin University (CDU) Second Year Bachelor of Paramedicine, talking about CDU First Nations Introduction to University Program. Tens of thousands of school leavers are considering their university offers, putting their hard-earned ATAR to use. But what about the students who didn’t get the ATAR they’d hoped for? Councillor Raymond Kelly, NSW Aboriginal Land Council Chairperson, talking about the NSW Aboriginal Land Council marks 60,000th land claim with call for urgent reform. While the NSW Aboriginal Land Council marks an achievement – submitting the state’s 60,000th land claim – there’s less celebration from the peak body for decades spent waiting, and tens of thousands claims still undetermined. As of late 2025, more than 44,000 Aboriginal Land Claims in NSW remained outstanding. Some of the undetermined claims date back to 1984. You can find out more via the link below!
