Ben Bowen, CEO of The Indigenous Literacy Foundation, talking about Wujal Wujal Elders share stories for future generations. Elders from the Wujal Wujal Community in Cape York, Queensland are taking part in an innovative Community Publishing program with the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) to ensure their Kuku Yalanji language and stories are heard for years to come.
Dr Janani Ravichandran, Dentist & Oral Health Promotor, Australian Dental Association, talking about Australians urged to prioritise healthy dental habits to avoid developing serious health issues. Studies show that poor dental hygiene can lead to more serious health issues developing including heart disease, Type 2 diabetes and pre-eclampsia in women.
Professor Brian Schmidt, the Vice-Chancellor of The Australian National University, talking about the major ANU event to help Australians engage with the voice. The event is designed for Australian university students as well as the wider public and aims to help voters learn more about the Voice, and respectfully engage with diverse views and perspectives surrounding the upcoming referendum.
