Patty Mills, Indigenous NBA player, talking with Trendy Trev about the IBA- Indigenous Basketball Australia visit to Cairns. Indigenous Basketball Australia is a unique national not-for-profit organization founded by 4 x Australian Basketball Olympian & NBA player Patty Mills. The program includes 8 regions across Australia and two age groups – 14s & Under and 17’s & Under.
Karen Lee Mungarrja, Inidgenous Artist, talking about Northland Shopping Centre commissions Wiradjuri artist for art series. The “All Are One” collection, or Ngumbaay-dyil in Wiradjuri language, represents a multi-layered story referencing the Wurundjeri Peoples, Aboriginal culture and the unique diversity of the Darebin community that celebrates, nurtures and provides unique opportunities for all people to have a voice.
