Fern Newcombe, Solicitor at Marrawah Law talking about Human Rights Month 2020. The Queensland Human Rights Commission run an annual campaign from 10 November – 10 December where they highlight the importance of protecting and promoting human rights. This year’s campaign is especially significant as 2020 is the first year that Queensland has had human rights protections written into law.

Annie Wylie, Manager of Digital Content at ReachOut discussing how to be an ally to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Annie talks about what a good ally means and looks like, she also talks about the other work that they are doing to provide culturally appropriate support to young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Aaron Smith, media & communications consultant and award-winning, multi-platform journalist talking about the launch of his book: The Rock Looking into Australia’s ‘Heart of Darkness’ from the edge of its wild frontier.
