National Talkblack 261022
We had:
Cody Graham and Jasmine Uhr from Shoreline, discussing Shoreline to promote and help other young Indigenous children think about pathway career ideas & sharing their experiences within the program.
Devon Cuimara, Founder of the Aboriginal Male’s Healing Centre talking about how First Nations Australians are highlighting their own domestic violence experience in new campaign. Devon was surrounded by violence in his own home and became an offender himself before breaking his inter-generational pattern to seek help. Now, he is using his own lived experience to help others heal from the effects of domestic and family violence, and encourage his mob to continue to have rich conversations around respect.
