Mikaela French, Solicitor at Marrawah Law discussing the Meriba Omasker Kaziw Kazipa (Torres Strait Islander Child Rearing Practice) Act 2020 was passed by Queensland Parliament last week.
The Act is historic for Torres Strait Islander people as it means that traditional adoption and child-rearing practices which have been practiced for many generations is now recognised by the Australian legal system.

Professor Carol Hodgson, Deputy Director, Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre, Department of Epidemiology and Preventative Medicine and Monash University and Senior ICU physiotherapist at The Alfred hospital talking about the role of physiotherapists in the treatment of COVID-19.

Dr Trivess Moore, Senior Lecturer in the Sustainable Building Innovation Lab in the School of Property, Construction and Project Management at RMIT University discussing access to affordable household energy and sustainable building.
