Indigenous rangers have have found a number of endangered white-throated grasswrens, which are on the federal government’s priority list of 20 Australian birds it is hoping to stop becoming extinct.
Alicia Weiderman, Senior Policy Advisor at National Employment Services Association Ltd (NESA), talking about Industry peak body calls out Indigenous exclusion in latest unemployment rates. The National Employment Services Association says First Nations people and other disadvantaged Australians are being left out of record low unemployment figures. Last week the Australian Bureau of Statistics data reported unemployment remained at a record low 3.9 percent in May.
