National Talkblack 210722

We had:

Danielle Hradsky, PhD candidate, Faculty of Education, Monash University, Clayton Campus talking about how to teach First Nations content and concepts across all levels of education. Monash University Faculty of Education researchers have found that drama helps students understand difficult and complex First Nations concepts, and can contribute to the survival, dignity, and wellbeing of Indigenous peoples.

Kingsley Mortimer, Founder of the Safe Men Project, having a yarn with Trevor about the Safe Men Project and the space that he’s working in.

Nathan Moran, Chief Executive Officer at the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council talking about Aboriginal flag to replace NSW flag atop Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Aboriginal flag — which was flown on Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of NAIDOC Week celebrations — will permanently replace the New South Wales flag.
