On todays National Talkblack via NIRS – NIRS – National Indigenous Radio Service we had:
Kani Thompson and Clare Brown from Apunipima Cape York Health Council yarning about the recent statistics with almost 62% of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island children in remote communities in Far North Queensland were found to be to be anaemic, in a recent study conducted by Dympna Leonard and James Cook University . Apunipima Cape York Health Council believes that more effort and resources need to be invested in prevention initiatives such as addressing food insecurity.
