National Talkblack 180523

We had:

Rob Ramjan, Board Director of Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia, talking about how Indigenous people impacted by serious mental health issues are being urged to reach out and get help. The key not-for-profit Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia (MIFA), is bluntly warning that a massive 154,000 Australians who have a severe and complex mental illness are getting absolutely NO support from either the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or from other Commonwealth and State/Territory psychosocial programs.

Kim Walker, CEO of NAISDA Dance College, talking about how Federal Budget supports NAISDA’s First Nations emerging artists and storytellers. NAISDA is delighted by the Federal Government’s commitment of $957,025 announced in last week’s federal budget.
