We had:

Betty Taylor, CEO and Founder of the Red Rose Foundation Australia talking about Boys & Blokes urged to start a conversation about DV at a red bench during National Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month. A national domestic and family violence support charity is urging boys and men from across Queensland to sit on any one of more than 300+ red benches, and have a conversation about how we, as a community, can change the ending to domestic violence.

Elizabeth Close, Contemporary Aboriginal Artist and Muralist talking about honouring First Nations’ ideas and leadership through art and culture at Kambri ANU. While You Were Sleeping Volume 2 is a series of contemporary art and creative projects featuring First Nations artists from around Australia, being held at the Kambri precinct in the The Australian National University (Canberra) until the end of July 2022.

Peter Lenoy, Executive Officer at UMI Arts talking about symposium to ignite & empower First Nations’ artists. Based on the success of its inaugural symposium in 2021, the event program delves deep into the important issues confronting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and their future success with an inspirational line up of cultural experts secured to speak.
