Stella de Cos, Indigenous Business Australia Director of Community and Customer Experience, talking about the boost for economic empowerment of First Nations Women. Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) announced yesterday that applications are open for an exciting opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. Interested female-led Social Enterprises can apply for a partnership under the ‘Social Enterprise Grant’ that will support First Nations female entrepreneurs to innovate and create economic security in their communities.

Emeritus Professor Ross Homel, Foundation Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University, commenting on the increasing youth crime wave and the lack of convictions being recorded against them. Professor Ross has conducted extensive research on the prevention of crime, violence and injuries and the promotion of positive development and wellbeing for children and young people in socially disadvantaged communities.
