Scammers are making the most of the Covid-19 lockdowns to take advantage of vulnerable people looking to find a new pet. Scammers are leaving victims thousands of dollars out of pocket for a puppy that never existed. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has estimated that Australians have lost almost $300,000 from puppy scams during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr Alice Chang, Psychiatrist at The Cairns Clinic talking about breaking the stigma on mental health treatment. This week (10-18 October 2020), Ramsay Health Care is encouraging Queenslanders experiencing anxiety or depression to speak with their GP or medical specialist.
