National Talkblack 081119
On todays National Talkblack via NIRS – NIRS – National Indigenous Radio Service we had:
Leah Cameron from Marrawah Law. As we are approaching the festive season, your workplace might celebrate by throwing an office Christmas Party to reward staff for their efforts throughout the year. Christmas parties can be a great opportunity for your team to come together and celebrate the year’s achievements. However, Christmas Parties can also bring out Christmas Turkeys- employees who become too intoxicated and are poorly behaved.?
Simon Palfrey – Professor of English. Who is currently in Cairns to develop a big multimedia project which engages in questions of land, country who owns it, its history and stories. They are interested in creating a collaborative project in the relations between European and Indigenous communities.
Wayne Warton in the studio with Trevor to yarn about a range of topics today. Such as the Woomera Aboriginal Party to be represented, Uluru Statement, Voice to Parliament and today as the last day for Stolen Wages documents to be in!
