Emeritus Professor Maryann Bin-Sallik, talking about “In Our Own Right: Black Australian Nurses and Midwifes Stories. National Exhibition”. Professor Maryann was the first Indigenous person to graduate as a trained nurse from Darwin Hospital, and the first Indigenous Australian gain a Doctorate from Harvard University. Dr Hester Wilson, Chair of the RACGP’s Specific Interests Addiction Medicine network talking about RACGP launches Alcohol and Other Drug GP Education Resource library. The Alcohol and Other Drugs GP Education Resource Library contains tools and resources developed as part of the college’s Alcohol and Other Drugs GP Education Program designed to help GPs address the challenges they face every day with patients who use alcohol and other drugs.
