Patty Kinnersly, Our Watch CEO, talking about journalists one key to ending violence against women – new Fellows announced. Sixteen journalists from across Australia will take part in a prestigious program to learn how their reporting can play a role in stopping violence against women.
Steve Hemming, Associate Professor Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research at Flinders University, talking about more than 40 per cent of Earth’s land surface ‘must be conserved to maintain biodiversity’. While working out how much of the Earth’s land surface needs to be conserved is an important conversation we need to have, working out the specific details of what that looks like in each place is where the work needs to be done, according to Steve.
