National Talkblack 060619

On todays National Talkblack via NIRS – NIRS – National Indigenous Radio Service we had:

Wayne Binder from Wangki Yupurnanupurru Radio having a chat with Trevor what’s happening over that way in Fitzroy crossing.

Michael from Cherbourg Radio 94.1FM and also Charmaine from MY105FM as well giving us some news from their neck of the woods and also what’s happening in the community for NAIDOC celebrations this year.

Timothy O’Rouke – Senior Lecturer at the School of Architecture at The University of Queensland. Reports often address the gap in Indigenous health. It identifies a need for readily accessible, culturally supportive healthcare services, but the actual architecture design of hospitals and clinics is often ignored or is an after thought as to how that may affect Indigenous peoples experience and their likeliness to use a health service.

Have something happening in your community, and you want to talk about it, give us a call on 1800 422 416. Or Give us a text on 0459 978 945!
We would also like to thank the Community Broadcasting Foundation and PMC for their support here at BBM 98.7FM
