Homelessness Week is this week (1-7 August) and shows homelessness is on the rise, with a staggering one in five Australians having experienced homelessness at some point in their lives.

The State of the Environment report 2022 released this week found all areas of the nation are in a poor and deteriorating state. Traditional Indigenous cultural burning can provide an answer to number of the horrific results in the Report.
Senior Sergeant Glen De Lai and PLO Stephen Grant from Edmonton Police, talking about National Missing Person Week, 31 July – 6 August. National Missing Persons Week aims to raise awareness about the significant number of young Australians reported missing. Out of the estimated 35,000 people who are reported missing each year, approximately 20,000 are under the age of 18.
