Aunty Bronwyn Penrith, Member of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Panel talking about monument to First Nations people unveiled on Sydney Harbour. The official unveiling of major new artwork bara by Waanyi artist Judy Watson took place on Saturday 28th May.
Mark Kilpatrick, Director Community Services at MJD Foundation talking about why they have canned Australia Day holiday in favour of honouring First Nations Hero, Eddie Mabo. The Darwin-based Machado-Joseph disease-focused non-profit decided this year it would no longer recognise January 26 as a public holiday, instead opting to change the day off to Mabo Day on June 3.
Dr Wendy Ludwig, talking about how she has been appointed as Creative Director for the Garrmalang Festival 2022. The 2022 Festival program is brimming with top notch concerts and events and will be launched with rocking good vibes by NT rising stars King Stingray.
