Mervyn Eades, WA Aboriginal Activist, talking about ‘Worried for our kids’: Boorloo / Perth rally bomb sparks fear. Authorities are treating an Invasion Day attack as a potential terrorist act but an expert says it should also be considered a racial hate crime. A 31-year-old man is in custody after being accused of throwing a device “designed to explode” into a crowd of 2500 people at the protest in Perth. Police are investigating the incident as a potential terrorist act, saying it was only because of good luck the device did not explode. It allegedly contained a mixture of volatile chemicals with nails and metal ball bearings attached to its exterior.

After previously serving an enjoyable 28 years in the Australian Army (23 yrs regular/ 5 yrs reserves) in the airborne operations field as a parachute instructor / rigger, Paul saw the Soldier on mentoring program and he keenly offered to participate, to share his experiences and offer any advice and suggestions, resulting in very positive outcomes and a friendship with his mentor, Al, was formed.
