Susi Tegan, National Rural Health Alliance Chief Executive, talking about Healthcare equity is one step to Close the Gap for rural First Nations people. The National Rural Health Alliance (the Alliance) calls on governments and health entities to commit to the recommendations of the Close the Gap Campaign Report 2024 to ensure that we, as a nation, realise true health equity for Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Katina Olsen, freelance choreographer, movement director, dancer and actor and is the Lead Artist for the NAISDA NIDA Collaboration, talking about Australia’s Leading Arts Training Organisations Comes Together in Cultural and Creative Collaboration. In an intensive week-long collaborative program taking place this week, NAISDA and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) have come together to explore creative and cultural partnership, cross-cultural storytelling and multidisciplinary approaches to performance.
Jo Anne, talking about First Nations Wiyi Yani U Thangani Institute Launch. The Institute takes a First Nations gender lens to pivotal issues ranging from housing and education to environmental conservation and economic engagement.
