Chris Giles and Christian Renford, CEO of Little Athletics NSW and CEO of Athletics NSW, talking about a new partnership set to redefine Athletics in New South Wales ahead of 2024 Olypic Games. With the 2024 Olympics just around the corner and the rising popularity of Athletics, having a streamlined platform for Australianathletes to participate, develop and compete is crucial. With that in mind, ANSW and LANSW are joining forces to launch the NSWAthletics Partnership to simplify and enhance the Athletics experience in NSW.

Mike Marom, Regional General Manager at Telstra, talking about Telstra launching easy to use 3G SMS Checker for customers to check if phone will work after 3G closes. 3G launched around 20 years ago, but in the coming months all of Australia’s 3G networks will be switched off. Telstra have developed an easy to use SMS tool to check if their customers phones need to be updated when the network closes. By texting ‘3’ to 3498, Telstra customers or those with a device using Telstra’s mobile network will receive a text back advising on the status of the device and what action must be taken.

Sophie Emder, Victorian campaigner with Sweltering Cities, talking about how the cost of living and climate crises are putting Australians’ health at risk as temperatures rise. A new survey from Sweltering Cities has revealed the serious impact that this summer’s heat has had on Australians’ health. The 2024 Summer Survey received more than 2300 responses from people reporting their experience of heat over the summer.
