Today, Jack Wilkie-Jans yarn to Kuku Midigi man, artist Arone Meeks. host Carli Somer Willis yarns to Darren Blackman, urban cultural artist and musician currently living in Aurukun, on Wik Country in Western Cape York. His father is of the Gureng Gureng and Gangalu language nations of South East and Central QLD. His mother is of Kanaka descent, whose grandparents were taken from the Northern Islands of Vanuatu. Finally, Jack Wilkie-Jans also yarns to Fiona Elisala-Mosby. Born on Thursday Island in the northern islands of Zenadth Zes (the Torres Strait). She is currently a studio Assistant and artist at Moa Arts and works primarily with lino printing, etching, screen-printing and mono prints.
