Debbie Kilroy, CEO of Sisters Inside, talking about how Sisters Inside warns Black lives will be lost with Queensland’s ‘US’ style policing. Prison abolition campaigners Sisters Inside have warned Queensland’s new youth justice laws will open the door to United States style policing that has led to thousands of Black deaths at the hands of police in the past decade.

Aaron Fa’aoso, ITTB Board, talking about the Truth and Treaty Community Yarns. They will be conducing Community Yarning sessions at select locations across the State.

Dr Pamela Laird, Respiratory researcher and physiotherapist, talking about new trial aims to nip chronic lung disease in the bud for First Nations kids. WA researchers will use a $1.97 million Medical Research Future Fund grant to develop a strategy for better follow-up of First Nations children after they’ve been hospitalised for respiratory infections, in a bid to halt the slide into more severe lung disease.

Corey Tutt, Founder of DeadlyScience, talking about how Australia Post will assist not-for-profit Indigenous charity DeadlyScience delivering LEGO®️ products to more than 750 First Nations schools and communities across Australia this week.
