Wake up with Matty on the breaky show to get your morning started! This program includes National Indigenous news on the hour with a weather report, interviews with Indigenous people, entertainers, Indigenous and non Indigenous, replay of interviews on our current affairs program talkblack and Bush poetry. Also regular daily messages relating to Indigenous health, social and emotional wellbeing, crime prevention, suicide prevention and other issues of importance to Indigenous people and community events via community announcements. Matty used to be one our original trainees, who is now our Senior Broadcaster and supervises our school based trainees.

Dial A Hit

10:00am - 11:00am - Mon to Fri

Main Host : Alisha Matthew, DJ Disco Rock

Tune in weekdays with Alisha, who will take you through an hour of Dial A Hit. The few hours include National Indigenous news on the hour and a cross throughout the first hour 9am-10am to 98.9FM in Brisbane during their "Lets Talk" current affairs program, airing interviews of interest to our community from that program as well as playing and taking requests from community. This is a very popular program and is a favourite for Birthday, Anniversary requests and many more. Alisha was one of our trainees and is now apart of the team after 3 years and every Thursday, hosts this program with our current school based trainees and DJ Disco Rock along side her.

DJ Disco Rock, also known as Solly, has been apart of our BBM team for over 10 years. Solly resides at a Cootharinga home and comes in every Thursday without fail and has a very huge fan base! Solly loves being able to attend BBM events and is always around for a friendly chat.

11:00am - Midday - Mon to Fri

Main Host : Trevor Tim/Gudju Gudju (Seith) Fourmile

Join either Gudju Gudju (Seith) Fourmile, a Traditional Owner of Cairns or Trevor Tim (Trendy Trev) an Indigenous motivational speaker/mentor, for an hour of Talkblack weekdays from 11am. This program is presented at a grassroots level and is very popular. National Indigenous Talkblack show focussing on current affairs and issues of importance to Indigenous people right around Australia, mixed in with "murri humour" by bama people of this area. Listeners are encouraged daily to call in the toll free number on a daily basis. This program is BBM's flagship program and is listened to by a large Indigenous audience in Cairns, Yarrabah and surrounding districts and around the country via the National Indigenous Radio Service. Other radio stations around the country that take up this program is: 4K1G Townsville, Radio Noongar WA, Radio Mama WA, Radio Yarralin NT, 3KND Melbourne and various stations across this country via the National Indigenous Radio Service. We are proud of this program as we have callers ringing in on a daily basis from around the country and can speak about any issues. (Very busy show with our trainees in the background producing in by way of collecting material, up to date news/events, panel operators, answering the busy phone lines and setting up interviews).

Drivetime

Main Host : Kallen - (KC)

Wind down with Kallen for the best mix of music on your drive home! This program is a combination of deadly music, interviews, requests and much more. You will not be disappointed tuning in for that long drive home after work! Kallen came to BBM as a school based trainee and is now a full time broadcaster and host of Drivetime.
